Sunday Stash (my first)

Today is the first link up I’ve done for Sunday Stash- I thought I’d use it to chastise myself for the amount of fabric I’ve bought these last few months when I was supposed to be abstaining. There were some other bits purchased too- a FQ or a few yards here and there that have been used up pretty instantly, but these are what I have still lying around.

Last week I went to the Village Haberdashery and bought these….

A few days previous to that I bought some Ikea fabrics (got the Nummers print but not sure it’s “me”)

There was a 20% off sale at Simply Solids last month and this layer cake was already reduced down so I bought it (I do have a specific project in mind though)

These ones were FREE so does that count? They are the left overs from my secret projects.

These are mostly from our EMMQG meeting before last at Stitchcraft. I did use some I bought there though. Also the ones at the back were from shopping online but I forget where as it was a while ago now.

A trip to Fabric Guild at the start of last month yielded these- the first two were 60p a FQ so it was rude not to really. The rest were from half yards that I split with Wendy- they are the latest color collection range from Makower.

These were free too- they are what I spent my voucher for Mad About Patchwork on – I won it in the last quarter of the Finish Along. Don’t think they count as being naughty either!

These do though. They fell into my basket at Fluffy Sheep Quilting when I was buying Aurifil…

I guess I had better announce the winner of my giveaway from earlier this week now? Little earlier than planned, hope that’s OK.

Which is…

Congrats Kathy 🙂

Wow, if that’s what it’s like when you’re not buying fabric, what’s it like when you are? I love the Anna Maria Horner print – I’ve been eyeing that one up too.

Definitely that sale fabric needed a good home…and it’s important to support the FAL sponsor….so I think you did alright! Great choices, I have some of those in my stash but not those bunny dots.

I don’t think you have been too naughty – so many of those have been free, which is awesome! 🙂

no, this how it works – the free ones (left overs and bought with vouchers) not only don’t count, as they’re free, but can also be taken off the bits you did pay for. Those items that were on sale were actually savings, so again you can negate those items, AND the savings made. Fabric bought in IKEA doesn’t count neither does fabric bought at guild meetings, so, if you do your maths, I think you’ll find that you actually saved money rather than spent any…

Ummm, weren’t you fabric fasting?! I’m getting rather bored of it now I must admit.
