Random Thursday – why my OH is better than Ryan Gosling

Two things he has said to me this week that affirms I’m marrying the right person….

“Is it OK to use fabric scissors on this foam?” – thanks for checking and knowing that they’re not ‘just scissors’!

Last night – “You’ve had a really productive day on that quilt.” – I didn’t do anything at all around the house, paid work in any form or anything useful at all yesterday, unless buying a loo brush from Ikea counts. I didn’t even help cook at any point, and that wasn’t even said in a sarcastic tone either before you ask!

And hopefully he will put these away for me while I’m out today (yeah he does that too sometimes) hint hint (yes he reads this blog).

Don’t forget he did my dress photos for me last weekend too 😉

Linking up…

Hubs practically shats in his pants when he has to borrow my scissors when I’m not around. Despite all my training, he still can’t tell the difference between a fabric scissors and a regular scissors. This year I bought a rock solid scissors for the kitchen which he’s free to use on any material… Yet every time he needs to cut something, he goes straight to my sewing table! Yours came trained already. So lucky!

I think I might shove you out of the way and marry him instead! My OH knows I blog but I don’t think he actually has any idea what that is.

DH and kids have been trained to stay away from the fabric scissors. I have a ton of regular ones in every pencil cup in the house. Your guy sounds marvelous. Definitely a keeper.

If you don’t marry him I will. Seriously. Is he a package deal with Hank?

I think Rob is too scared to use my scissors, in case I come after him with them, not sure where he gets the idea I’m a psycho when it comes to them….

Well trained! The ex flatmate never used the scissors, but he did use the best kitchen knife to hack a garden hose. He then bought a new knife via his next month’s rent 😉

LOL! I LOVES the quotes, was so great! Regarding OH, you know it’s destiny when your minds connect with important issues like sewing and scissors. ha ha.
