How do you like this pattern?

I’ve just been having a play with Electric Quilt 7 again and come up with a paper pieced block that looks like this…

Which when made into a cushion panel will look like this- pretty!

Once I’ve sewn one up I’m thinking of submitting it to a magazine as a pattern.

But I can’t think of a name for the block! Any ideas? Stars are so hard to name!

    Nice! How about some kind of firework related name – try googling firework names to see if there are any generic names (like Catherine Wheel) rather than any brand name. Good luck getting it accepted by magazine.

    Cool, what about Maltese Starcrossed Love- the outside looks quite starry, and the inside wheel look a bit like a Maltese crusaders style cross? Good Luck with getting it accepted for publication. : )

    Love this block….it’s amazing how all of the straight lines end up looking like curves…gorgeous! I can’t think of a name, but I sure hope you get it published!

    It reminds me of a Kaleidoscope, so maybe Kaleidostar?
